I am a dedicated and enthusiastic piano teacher with a Master of Church Music degree and over 25 years of teaching experience both in private schools and in three states. My in-home teaching studio is located in Melissa, Texas. While in graduate school, I studied piano with Mia Chung, organ with Roy Brunner, and voice with Elizabeth Printy. I am a Past President of the Plano Music Teacher's Association and an active member of the National Piano Teachers Guild, and the American Guild of Organists. Aside from teaching, I have been a school music teacher, Director of Music, organist, and pianist in a variety of churches, and an accompanist for recitals, concerts, and contests by choirs, bands, and instrumentalists in McKinney, Allen, Plano, Lovejoy, Dallas, and Prosper schools. I also volunteer with my church worship team.
I actively seek to stay current and further professional development as a teacher by regularly attending music teacher association events, state conferences, and continuing education events..
